Doug Wayne (Doug Wayne Holmquist) started his music career singing in a gospel duo at age 16. Already composing and writing lyric at a young age it was a natural development when he began to write, sing and do voiceovers for the radio & television commercial industry in the early 80’s. (Currently the theme song for the Dave Nemo Show on XM radio was co-written with Michael Burns and performed by Doug)
In 1991 Doug moved to Nashville Tennessee to further develop his writing and producing skills. Doug was signed as a staff songwriter to Crosswind / MCA and began the journey that has brought him to where he is now.
